In an emotive storytelling session with Heritage Held, I seek to capture you in the very stage of life you are in right now. That stage that seems to be so quickly slipping through your fingers. I generally start most sessions with a few posed portraits to give you a few classic images. Once those are out of the way, we move into interacting. This is true whether you are doing a session with your family, loved ones, or even a portrait session by yourself. It is my greatest desire to capture you at your very best. If you happen to be not the most comfortable in front of the camera (me!), no worries! I know all the best tips and tricks to help you relax and look ah-may-zing.
Every session comes with a design consult where we chat about what exactly you want out of your images. What do you want them to feel like? How do you want to remember this time? What type of custom art are you hoping to create? All sessions also come with a wardrobe consult. We can meet at your house (in person or virtually!) and raid your closet, or you can allow me to shop online for you and send you a few options. AND... you have access to an awesome client closet I have created! I will help you select the clothing that matches the feel you desire for your session and clothes I know will photograph beautifully. Before your session, you will also be pampered with complimentary hair and makeup! The makeup artists that work with Heritage Held are all skilled in their craft. They know how to apply makeup just the right way to be camera ready.
The ultimate goal here is for us to capture memories that we can turn into custom artwork for your home. This way you can have your heritage, and have it to be held for generations to come.
I know you are located in South Arkansas. But do you travel?
Yes! Yes! A million times yes! (Just envision me jumping up and down right now.) Travel fees are extra, but if you take me somewhere awesome I'm normally pretty prone to give you an awesome deal!
Do the session fees include the digitals?
Digitals are available for purchase, but with your luxury experience, you don't have to stress about printing the images yourself. I have been photographed before. And I got the digitals on a thumb drive. And now? I have no clue where it is. I want you to have your images forever! Which means at your viewing and ordering session I have awesome software that will allow you to see what YOUR images will look like on YOUR wall. And I have tons of samples of albums and other products so I can help you select the perfect art for your home. I walk you through the whole process so you don't have to worry about a thing besides enjoying your memories every day where you can see them.
How does the booking process work?
It's my goal to make this as simple and painless as possible! Get in touch with me through my connect form, or give me a call/text at the number below. If you have a carrier pigeon, feel free to send a message that way. Once we are able to start chatting, I will send you over a contract and invoice for the session fee. After those are taken care of, the fun part begins. We set up a time for your design consult, your wardrobe consult, your hair and makeup before your session, and your viewing and ordering session all at once. That way you have the calendar all mapped out.
